Attorney John C. Bucalo is a civil litigator serving clients in the Northeast Ohio region that includes Cleveland, Akron, Canton, Lorain, Elyria, Mansfield, Medina, Ashtabula, Youngstown, Warren, and surrounding areas. He opened his Cleveland law firm in 2007 and has dedicated his practice to general civil litigation in state courts, focusing primarily on the areas of Workers’ Compensation, Social Security Disability (SSD)/Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Personal Injury.

John received his Juris Doctorate from the Cleveland Marshal School of Law at Cleveland State University in 1993, and received Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) in Finance from the University of Akron in 1989. He was admitted to practice by the Supreme Court of Ohio in May 1994 and by the United States District Court Northern District of Ohio in May 1996.

As he celebrates his 25th year in practice, John welcomes the clients of Attorneys Charles and Bessie Cassaro into the firm.  Cassaro and Cassaro Co., L.P.A. has been one of Cleveland’s most renowned and prestigious law firms representing injured workers since 1984.  Congratulations to Charlie and Bessie on their well-deserved retirement!

John is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association (CMBA), the Akron Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association (OSBA) and the Ohio Association for Justice. He is certified in Workers’ Compensation by OSBA and chairs the CMBA Workers’ Compensation section.
